Chapter 30: Bear Attack

Disoriented, the bear retaliated, swinging a mighty paw that sent Jamie tumbling. With a renewed sense of urgency, she rolled to the side and sprinted toward the van, desperately reaching for the gun she’d found earlier.

As she reached the vehicle, adrenaline pumping, Jamie grabbed the pistol, her fingers clamping tightly around the grip.
