Adriana Kuch was a 14 year old student at Central Regional High School who was violently assaulted on February 1st. The assault was filmed and later posted on tiktok, and the school did absolutely NOTHING to help her. Over the next 2 days, people from all over the world taunted her and the video went viral. Sadly, because of all of the cyberbullying, Adriana took her own life on February 3rd.

Her case has made international news, and has prompted anger across the entire nation. When I first saw it, I didn’t think much of it, until I started having flashbacks to when I had nearly attempted. Then, the floodgates opened, and I began suffering from grief, depression, anxiety, and anger, all at once. I ended up in the emergency room with suicidal thoughts, but was released a few hours later. Now, I have a referral pending for a trauma therapist to see me, and I hope that I get the help I need.
