Last Note

A death row inmate awaiting execution asked for a pen with his dying wish. After writing for several minutes, the prisoner called the prison guard and asked that the letter be delivered to his birth mother.

THE LETTER SAYS…

Mom if there was more justice in this world we would both be executed not just me. Mom is as guilty as I am for the stormy life I led.

REMEMBER when I was a boy and I stole a bike and took it home?

Mom helped me hide it so dad wouldn’t find out

REMEMBER when I stole money from the neighbor’s wallet?

Mom went with me to spend it at the mall.

REMEMBER when I was arguing with my dad and mom came up for me and he walked out?

He only wanted to correct me because I stole my final result from the course I was kicked out of.

Mama, I was just a child, not long after becoming a troubled teenager and now I’m a very uneducated man.

Mama I was just a child who needed correction, not approval. But even then I forgive you!

I just ask to send this letter to the largest number of parents in the world, so they know what makes all men good or bad people.. it’s EDUCATION and EDUCATION.

Thank you mom for giving me life and helping me lose it.

Education and punishment begin in the first years of childhood and lasts until the last day of life

Educate children so that they can distinguish between right and wrong and what the consequences may be about wrong decisions.
